The Cheese Network is designed to bring together businesses, organisations and specialists who want to contribute to a stronger cheese sector.
There are different ways to work with us depending on what you do, what you can contribute and the role you want to play.
Different ways to support the Network
Partnership is not one fixed package. Some organisations may help fund shared activity. Others may contribute expertise, technology, research, reach or practical support.
We currently have four main partnership routes:
Growth Partner
For commercial organisations that benefit from a stronger cheese sector and want to help fund useful growth activity. Growth Partners may support shared campaigns, research, tools, events or other practical work.
Sector Partner
For organisations already supporting, representing, educating or developing the cheese sector. Sector Partnership is about connecting existing work, sharing expertise and collaborating where our priorities overlap.
Delivery Partner
For agencies, consultants, trainers, researchers and other specialists who can help turn useful ideas into practical work. Delivery Partners contribute relevant expertise and may become involved in working groups, shared projects or other activity where there is a good fit.
Technology Partner
For software companies, platforms and technology providers whose products or expertise can help cheese businesses work better. Technology Partners can help members understand, test and use useful technology more confidently.

Partnership should be useful
Our aim is to build relationships that create real value for the wider Network. That means partnership is not simply about putting a logo on a page.
A useful partner might contribute:
- Funding
- Specialist expertise
- Research or data
- Tools or technology
- Training or learning
- Campaign support
- Events
- Communications reach
- Staff time
- Practical resources
- Support for a Mission, Working Group or Shared Project
The right contribution will depend on the organisation and the type of partnership.
What partners can expect
Partners can build a closer relationship with The Cheese Network and take part in relevant activity.
Depending on the partnership, this may include:
- Recognition as a Network partner
- A partner profile
- Relevant Community participation
- Visibility of Network priorities and Missions
- Opportunities to contribute expertise
- Participation in suitable Working Groups
- Collaboration around Campaigns or resources
- Opportunities to explore Shared Projects
- Relevant feedback, learning and Insights
Partnership does not guarantee leads, sales, paid work, access to member data or control over network priorities.
Supporters
There may also be times when an individual or organisation simply wants to support a particular piece of work, mission, campaign or shared project. That support might be financial or practical and does not always need to become an ongoing partnership.
Where appropriate, we can agree a simple supporter relationship around the activity being supported.
Find the right fit
You do not need to decide which partnership route fits before speaking to us. Tell us a little about your organisation, how you work with the cheese sector and what you would like to contribute.
We can then work out the simplest and most useful way to work together.
