Sector Partner

.

Sector Partners are organisations already supporting, representing, educating, researching or developing the cheese sector.

Sector Partnership gives us a practical way to connect activity, share expertise and work together where doing so creates wider value.

Connect what already exists

There is already a great deal of useful work happening across the cheese sector.

The Cheese Network does not need to duplicate it.

Sector Partnership is about connecting existing knowledge, programmes, research, training, events and support so more people can benefit and organisations can work together where their priorities overlap.

The relationship may be practical, collaborative, financial or a mixture of these.

Who is Sector Partnership for?

Sector Partnership may be suitable for:

  • Trade and membership organisations
  • Education and training organisations
  • Industry initiatives
  • Events and awards
  • Research organisations
  • Professional and technical bodies
  • Charities and not-for-profit organisations
  • Other organisations with an established sector-support role

The important thing is the role you already play and the opportunity for useful collaboration, rather than your size or ability to pay.

What do Sector Partners contribute?

There is no single contribution model for Sector Partners.

Depending on the organisation and the relationship, a Sector Partner might contribute:

  • Sector knowledge or expertise
  • Existing resources
  • Research or data
  • Training and learning
  • Events
  • Communications reach
  • Access to relevant audiences
  • Staff time
  • Practical support
  • Shared campaigning
  • Working Group participation
  • Support for a Mission
  • Financial contribution

We agree what makes sense based on what each organisation can realistically bring to the relationship.

What do Sector Partners get?

Sector Partnership creates a clearer route for collaboration with The Cheese Network.

Depending on what we are working on together, this may include:

  • Recognition as a Sector Partner
  • A partner profile
  • Participation in relevant Community activity
  • Visibility of Network Missions and priorities
  • Access to relevant discussions and shared learning
  • Opportunities to contribute to Working Groups
  • Collaborative events, resources or Campaigns
  • Opportunities to explore Shared Projects

Sector Partnership does not provide ownership or control over The Cheese Network.

Become a Sector Partner

Every Sector Partnership should start with a simple conversation about what each organisation already does, where our work overlaps and what we might achieve together.

There is no standard published fee. The relationship may be based on collaboration, contribution, financial support or a mixture of these.
